The much-delayed Hidden Strike, originally titled Project X-Traction, arrives on Netflix, starring Jackie Chan and John Cena in the lead roles. Set in the near future, the movie revolves around an attack on a Chinese-owned refinery in Iraq, with Chan’s team of mercenaries assigned to rescue the employees, including his estranged daughter. Meanwhile, Cena’s character seeks retribution against a terrorist. Despite some well-executed stunts by Chan, the film disappoints with its lack of thrilling action and a predictable plot, leaving viewers unimpressed with this forgettable buddy film.
