“Justice League: Warworld,” DC’s latest animated feature set in the Tomorrowverse, returns to R-rated animation. The film is divided into three segments: Wonder Woman’s adventure in the Old West, Bruce Wayne as a mercenary in a desert world, and Martian Manhunter’s confrontation with Mongul and Lobo. The voice actors deliver commendable performances, but the stories lack complexity. The black-and-white segment offers an interesting twist but doesn’t quite hit the mark. “Justice League: Warworld” is enjoyable but fails to leave a lasting impression, missing the opportunity to provide more depth for a mature audience.
