Embarking on another whirlwind adventure in “Vacation Friends 2,” Marcus and Emily invite their unpredictable friends Ron and Kyla for an extravagant Caribbean getaway. Regrettably, this sequel falls flat in comparison to its predecessor. Despite a solid cast, the film lacks the original’s heart and exuberance. The humor often misses its mark, resulting in sporadic amusement. A sudden shift towards action in the final act feels out of place and forced. The true highlight remains the cast, especially Howery and Cena, who maintain their comedic rapport.
